Breaking News
I just learned that Tomas Holmstrom will be out for the rest of the series. He suffered a sports hernia sometime during Game 3. I don't think the news has broke anywhere else. It goes without saying that this is not good for the Red Wings and/or the parade.

i'm a pens fan. man thats a tough loss. i don't like seeing anyone hurt. but scp hockey is attrition defined. that said, from a fans perspective -me- i like to see the best against the best. the holmstrom/gill battles will be missed

No one ever hits Lidstrom. One good crack to the head would wake him up. The NHL protects him more than they did for Gretzky... I think he's been hit once in his career and that was early on in the season when he had to go to the hospital. He was looking around like WTF? Did the WTC come down again? NAIL him and Detroit would fall apart. All their little Swedes would go home crying.
Yzerman was one of the classiest players ever. On pure skill? There is no one on this planet, in any sport, on any rigged golf course now, or ever who will touch Mario for his TALENT. And he never practiced, he smoked, drank wine, ate potato chips. Not to mention cancer and 2 back surgeries and a broken wrist. Yzerman's knees went at the end and he still couldn't match Mario. No one ever will. Also, he was from Quebec, so that cost him at least 200 points right there (Don Cherry ragging on him.)
The car industry is in Japan now girlz. Get it into ya.
